The Conference is organized by the Slovak Society of Chemical Engineering with the assistance of the Institute of Chemical
and Environmental Engineering FCHPT STU in dates 20-23 May, 2019. The aim of the 46th Conference is the presentation of
research results and engineering solutions in the area of chemical and biochemical engineering and process control with
the focus on rational use of energy, ecology, and risk management.
CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Participants are invited to apply for oral or
poster presentations. Participants are
required to submitt short description of the
submitted contribution together with its title
and preffered form of the presentation (oral
or poster). The program committee will select
the final form of the presentation and inform
the authors about its decision.
A book of abstracts and fulltexts of the
presented contributions will be provided on a
flash drive. Contributions may be afterwards
submitted for publication in Chemical Papers
journal.
Organizers would like to invite companies
for promotion through an advertisement in
the conference proceedings, on the flash
drive, or within the promotion section during
the conference.

Registration for the conference is available
online from 1st of December, 2018

Please note that it is necessary to create a
personal profile to register in the conference

Conference fees
Registration fee (paid before April 15, 2019): 200€
PhD students and students: 160€
Accompanying persons: 40€
Registration fee (paid after April 15, 2019): 220€
PhD students and students: 180€
Full conference registration fee includes conference
proceedings, access to the scientific sessions, coffee-breaks
and conference party. Accommodation in Hotel Hutník costs
is 35€ per person per night in a double-bed room including
breakfast, or 45€ in a single-bed room including breakfast.
Price of lunch in the hotel restaurant is 11 € and dinner 13 €,
respectively.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Social program
All participants and accompanying persons are
invited to attend the conference party which will be
held on the premises of the Conference hotel on
Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Transportation
Transportation is individual. There is a train
connection between Bratislava and Poprad and bus
connection between Poprad and Tatranské Matliare or
train connection between Poprad and Tatranská
Lomnica (town close to the conference venue).
