Academic Year in Review
This year has been one like no other for our non-profit and organizations
across the globe. As our students reach the end of the academic year, it is
important to pause and focus on the incredible support of community leaders,
like you and your organization. The continued investment in our non-profit
has allowed the creation of and access to the best in professional develop-
ment from dozens of organizations, including the United States Senate
Committee on Aging and educators from Harvard and M.I.T.
CFTEA prides itself on a high level of customer service as we continually up-
date materials to provide the best experience for your employees. Our ties to
local and state colleges as well as nationally recognized continuing education
credits provide additional career development opportunities.
Annual Accomplishments
CFTEA received GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency for our important work in the community as well as workforce and career development. Thank
you for working with us and helping us reach this impressive goal! A huge congratulations to our board of directors for charting our non-profit course in 2020 and beyond!
CFTEA’s collaborative connection with the Society of Human Resource Management continues our strong commitment to supporting HR goals, such as workforce development and employee career paths.
CFTEA’s membership with the Maine Association of Non-Profits allows us to be a part of this growing network of nonprofits, for-profits, and individuals who are advancing, connecting, and strengthening our state
by investing in the leadership, voice, and organizational effectiveness of nonprofits.

Multiple channels for course offerings to meet the unique organizational and
student needs of the modern student. Live, Seminars, Guided Learning, Self-

with professionals teaching professionals and access to a subject matter

CFTEA has developed a program that allows for one free re-take. This is an
amazing value and safety net for students and organizations financially sup-

CFTEA provided the foundational program for community workforce development to support diversity and opportunity in banking. This program using ABA materials has been highlighted in the local news media as an outstanding example of community financial institutions collaborating to train, certify and supply a qualified workforce. This program is provided at four adult education locations in Maine and continues to grow national interest as a means of supporting our local financial institutions and ABA.
Representatives from our financial institutions helped to deliver the program’s
offerings, which includes courses dealing with being a teller, customer services,
computer skills and business writing, basic math and cash handling, personal finances,
and job search strategies.

We are excited to announce that CFTEA is working on the development of our own
Learning Management System (LMS)! It is a system that is used around the globe for
higher education learning.
This will help students have one place to go for their course information and links,
student transcripts will be available, and auto-notifications will be activated to
communicate with students on progress. Plus, our tests and quizzes will align within
this LMS to provide immediate
feedback and remove any more
paper tests.
