To help get the academic year off to a great start, the First Annual-Student (Zone 1) ticket has been frozen at £170 until 13th October 2019! Student tickets are available via the First Bus App, Student Union, or Colchester Travel Centre, St. Botolph’s Street.

1 Download the First Bus App

2 Sign in or register your account

3 Select Colchester area

4 Select Student Travel

5 Choose ticket type and ‘Continue’

6 Validate your essex.ac.uk email address

7 Choose payment method and purchase ticket

8 Select ‘GO TO WALLET’. Ticket will appear under the ‘Purchased Ticket’ section of the app

9 Select ticket and click ‘Activate’ when ready
