Student eBook Registration Instructions 1. Go to https://ebooks.certell.org. Note you CANNOT use Internet Explorer, Microsoft stopped supporting it a few years ago and due to security issues it will not work on our eReader platform. Google Chrome is the preferred browser. 2. If you do not have an account already, select Sign up at the bottom of the screen. 3. Complete the registration using an email address or create your own username. a. Please note: we recommend an email address when creating an account for password recovery purposes. Each user account is unique and allows for highlighting, notes and bookmarks within the eBooks. If a user creates an account, does not use an email address, and forgets their password, we will be unable to recover that specific account. The user will need to create a new account in order to regain access to the platform. Subsequently, all highlighting, notes, and bookmarks will be lost. We do not sell or distribute any personal or identifying information. b. Use the eBook code as provided by your instructor. c. Create a password that you will be able to remember. d. Select Register once complete.

Student eBook Registration Instructions

1. Go to https://ebooks.certell.org. Note you CANNOT use Internet Explorer, Microsoft stopped supporting it a few years ago and due to security issues it will not work on our eReader platform. Google Chrome is the preferred browser.

2. If you do not have an account

already, select Sign up at the bottom of the screen.

3. Complete the registration using an email address or create your own username.

How to add the eReader website to your home screen

iOS Device (Apple)

1. Open up Safari and type in the website address (https://ebooks.certell.org). (We know this is really hard, but after you learn this shortcut you’ll need have to type in this URL again, so don’t stress.) Once there, we suggest going ahead and logging in. Then proceed to step 2.

2. At the bottom of the screen you will see an icon depicting an arrow that looks like it’s trying to get away from a square. This

represents the pursuant rectangular form and chased

arrowhead. It also represents tapping a button to perform an action, which is more applicable in this case. So tap this button.

3. Select “Add to home screen.” (It is in the bottom row of icons and you may have to scroll to the right to find it)

4. You will be asked to confirm a name for it. Click Add (in the top right) You will know have an icon on your home screen and never have to type in the web address ever again.

Android Device

1. Select the Chrome for Android browser app and type in the web address (https://ebooks.certell.org). (We know this is really hard, but after you learn this shortcut you’ll need have to type in this URL again, so don’t stress.) Once there, we suggest going ahead and logging in.

2. In the upper right hand corner, select the menu. Normally represented by three stacked dots.

3. Select ”Add to home screen.”

4. If prompted confirm the name and add it to your complete the process. You will know have an icon on your home screen and never have to type in the web address ever again.
