    Academicintegrityisacorevalueofourcommunityoflearners.Everymemberoftheacademiccommunity(students,faculty,andstaff)isexpectedtomaintainhighstandardsofintegrityinallfacetsofworkandstudy.TheStudentGuidetoAcademicIntegritydescribesappropriateacademicconductinresearch,writing,assessment,andethics.

    AcademicdishonestyisnottoleratedatIndianaState.Thepenaltiescanbesevereandinclude:failingtheassignment,failingthecourse,andreferraltoStudentJudicialProgramstofaceformalconductcharges.Studentsfoundinviolationmaybesuspendedorexpelledandcanhaveapermanentnotationaffixedtotheirofficialtranscriptindicatingthatanacademicintegrityviolationoccurred.Ifyoucommitacademicdishonestyinaclass,youwillfailtheclass,andthecasewillbereportedtoStudentJudiciary.

    Plagiarism

    Plagiarismisintentionallyorcarelesslypresentingtheworkofanotherasone’sown.Itincludessubmittinganassignmentpurportingtobethestudent’soriginalworkwhichhaswhollyorinpartbeencreatedbyanother.Italsoincludesthepresentationofthework,ideas,representations,orwordsofanotherwithoutcustomaryandproperacknowledgementofsources.Studentsmustconsultinstructorsforclarificationinanysituationinwhichdocumentationisanissue.Studentswillbeconsideredtohaveplagiarizedwhenevertheirworkisimproperlycited.

    Alternativecommunicationtechnologyisusedtodeliverkeycomponentsoftheprogramsuchasageneraltechnologycore,linkingcampusestobetterservestudents.Thisallowsallmembersoftheconsortiumtocapitalizeontheefficientuseofexistingresourceswhilemaintainingquality.

    ThePh.D.inTechnologyManagementprogramispresentedwithfiveareasofrequiredspecializations:ConstructionManagementSystems,DigitalCommunicationSystems,HumanResourceDevelopmentandIndustrialTechnologySystems,ManufacturingSystemsandQualitySystems.TheGraduateConsortiumCoordinatingCouncilisthegoverningbodyresponsibleforapprovalofcurriculuminGeneralTechnologyCore,Specializations,ProfessionalStudies,andResearchCore.ThedoctoraldissertationisthefinalproductpreparedbythestudentandisformallyassessedbythePh.D.faculty.
