Important points to note:

• Visa Processing and Insurance needs to be renewed on a yearly basis and will be charged per annum.

• Application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance• Visa Processing fee is not refundable• ALL FEES ARE TRANSACTED IN RINGGIT MALAYSIA• Amount in USD is calculated based on exchange rate of USD 1=RM 3.00.• Any shortfall from any translation of foreign currencies to Ringgit Malaysia

and bank charges will be borne by the student.• Excess will be transferred to the next semester / year fees or refunded upon

Admission

• STEP 1: Admission Confirmation

– Upon receipt of ALL documents and Application Fee, MIU will then assess the applicant’s eligibility for entry.

– If the student meets the entry requirements, MIU will issue the Letter of Offer and the Student bill to the student

– The University will proceed to apply for the Visa Approval Letter on behalf on the student.

– Visa Application will usually take 6 - 8 weeks. Upon receipt of the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) from the Malaysia Immigration Department, MIU will scan and email a copy to the applicant.

• STEP 2: ADMISSION COMPLETION– On receipt of the Visa Approval Letter, the student is required to make payment based

on the Student Bill (the first Semester Tuition Fees ; Hostel fee & Administration Fee and Personal bond) to MIU.

– Payment to be made via telegraphic transfer– Fax or scan and email the copy of Telegraphic Transfer slip (name written at the front) to
