We are proud of… OUR STUDENTS OF THE WEEK Kael Bourke, Lizbeth Batten and Haydn Edwards are our students of the week. Kael is congratulated for his improved effort in all areas, Lizbeth for her brilliant effort in English and Haydn for his improved attitude towards learning. OUR ASSEMBLY AND PLAYGROUND AWARD WINNERS

Angus Tobin is congratulated for great listening and Ashton Corby for doing his best work. They both received a prize to thank them. OUR WINNERS OF THE CLASS SHIELD

Congratulations to 5/6G who are the winners of this week’s class shield. They are congratulated for doing their best work. Natayia Hodges and Jess Belmonte accepted the shield on behalf of 5/6G.

The following children will be presented with their Striving Higher Awards at the assembly this Friday, 2nd September at 12pm. 5 Awards Kayden Fletcher, Tristan Carter, Archie Dickinson and Noah Peter. 10 Awards Caiden Barnes, Angelina Nand, Jayden Johnson and Sarah Willott. Boys and Girls Touch Football Last Monday, the boys touch team went to Learmonth Park to play Kelso Public School. It was a tough and hard game but even though we played hard, we lost. The final score was 6/5 Kelso’s way. We struggled to tap them because they were such a good team. We would like to thank Mrs Jolley and Mrs Shelley Fox for all the training sessions and organising the team. Thanks also to Kelso – they were a great team to play and it was a clean, fair game! Report by Lachlan Vallis and Lachlan Fitzsimmons Last Friday, the girls touch team went to Portland to play 2 games. We won the first game 11/1 against Portland Central School. Because we won that game we had to play another team, Lithgow Public School. They were a really tough team to play against, and in the end Lithgow won 3/2. It was a really good day and everyone enjoyed it. We would like to thank Mrs Jolley and Mrs Fox for all the hard work and effort they put into the team. Awesome work Raglan girls! Report by Isabella Taylor and Luci Steffen
