My Recommendation for TV Show – Kaun Banega Crorepati

KBC is my favourite Indian television game show which airs on Sony TV from Mon to Fri 9 pm – 10.30 pm. It is based on the British programme ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’. The show host is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and it is in its 11th season. The tagline this time is “Ade Raho” which means “don’t give up…keep trying” which is a very inspiring slogan.

The show starts with 10 contestants who answer the initial round of ‘fastest finger first’. The one who answers the fastest gets the chance to be on the ‘hot seat’ opposite Mr. Bachchan. The game is to answer 16 multiple choice questions from different subjects. They are divided into three milestone levels. The first level is of five questions which they must answer in 45 seconds each and the next level five questions in 60 seconds each. If they give incorrect answer or fail to answer in given time, they must leave the game. This teaches us to be quick thinkers and to be confident. After the 2nd milestone level is reached the contestant has no time limit, but the questions get difficult as value of the prize money increases. It gets interesting and thrilling as they move ahead. They can also choose to quit if they do not know the answer and leave with the sum that they have earned till then. For their assistance they are given 4 ‘lifelines’ which they can use for help in giving the correct answers. The 3rd milestone level is the prize money of 1 crore and the last is the jackpot question of 7 crores. So far two contestants have won the 1 crore prize money in this season and many have won lakhs of rupees only due to their knowledge.

During the show, as an audience we gain a lot of information in different fields like entertainment, current affairs, sports, history, science and technology, religion & mythology etc. This in turn increases our general knowledge. We get a chance to meet people from different backgrounds and learn from their valuable life experiences. Since the format of the show is in Hindi, we also get to improve our vocabulary. One of the contestants on the show rightly said that “our knowledge is like the Aladdin’s lamp; we can rub the lamp and make our dreams come true” & “knowledge is wealth that cannot be stolen from us.”

With so many positive things I recommend that each one of us should watch this show, learn and enjoy at the same time.

Al  Rawabi  Farm  Visit                    

   

Feeling   bored   in   the  weekend.   Then   get   a   chance   to   go   to  Al   Rawabi  Dairy   Farm   in  Dubai.  Once   you  reach  there  ,  you  will  be  going  on  a  bus  tour  of  the  farm.    Best  to  come  a  little  late,    because  you  don’t  want  to  wait.    

First  you  will  stop  at  the  Mooseum,  you’ll  see  some  cows  through  a  window.  They  are  milked  by  machines.  You’ll  see  also  some  facts  on  the  walls.  Did  you  know  that  calves  drink  yellow  milk?    

During   the   tour   you’ll   also   see   calves.   They’re   so   cute.  But  they  were  separate  from  their  mothers.  I  felt  sad  for  them.  They  were  so  young.  

 

Next  we  went   to   a   place  where   you   could   see  the  milk  being  packaged.    There  ,  I  found  that  Al  Rawabi  had   15,000   cows   and   they   milked   13,000   cows  everyday.   All   this   talk   about   milk   made   me   feel   like  drinking   it!   It  was  such  a  nice  trip  that   I  never   forgot.   I  hope  that  you  will  like  Al  Rawabi  Dairy  Farm  as  much  as  I  do.

My Favorite Movie – DUMBO I often like to see movies but from all the movies, that I watched I liked this movie the most. My favorite movie is Dumbo. Dumbo is a 2019 American fantasy adventure film. I liked this movie for many reasons. The movie is a combination of action, adventure and comedy. Also, it has a happy ending. The movie is about a struggling circus owner, his two children and Dumbo – a baby elephant.

The circus owner was going thru a struggling period and found it very difficult to run the circus. He was a ring master as well. He was physically disabled. So, he found it very difficult to do, new adventures in his circus.

During this period there was a baby elephant, Dumbo born with oversized ears. He is the main character. Since Dumbo’s mother was a wild elephant, the circus owner kept her out of circus. Due to this Dumbo also became wild – after all he was missing his mother.

However, two kids of the circus owner loved the baby elephant and tried to be friends with him. While playing with Dumbo, they found that the animal has a magical ability. He could fly! They were amazed! They decided to make this an important part of the circus. So, it became main attraction, bringing in huge audiences and revitalizing the run-down circus.

The Dumbo then knows the place where his mom is captured. So, he flies in the sky and goes to his mom.

When the baby elephant and mother elephant mate each other, they refuse to get separated. This was an emotional scene which made the circus owner’s mind to keep them together and send them to forest, instead of asking them to act in circus.

So, finally the circus owner sent both the elephants back to forest. This was very happy ending that I liked most.
