9. Contribution to the Society:
The waste-to-energy plants are useful for disposing of various types of waste,
which are polluting the environment and can be used for producing heat and power
(electricity). This study develops new coating/substrate systems, which are
successfully tested in the corrosive environment of this plant. The use of these
systems will further make these plants economically viable by increasing the
efficiency of these plants.
