Final Turn
Mike drew the Spicy Chicken Item Card which carries a weight of 5 lb. This Item also skips one person. This did not matter as the 5 lb weight put the cat over it’s weight limit of 65 lb. The cat ended with a total weight of 68 lb. As Mike pushed the cat over it’s weight limit, Mike lost and Kayla won.
Score Sheet
Cat After Photo
I actually found that up to 21 items can fit inside of the cat. Where you stuff the items into the cat actually can play into the strategy. If you stuff the items into the back of the head and cover that item with other items it becomes harder to pull that item out of the cat. Example: I place the Brick (15 lb) into the cats head. The cat’s head is then stuff over the next few turns and someone draws a Wild Card. They want to remove the Brick from the cat. They may not be able to get to the Brick if too many items have been stuffed over it.
The Item That Ended A Life
This Spicy Chicken Wing ended the game for Mike. As you can see the name of the item is printed on the white ribbon as well as the weight, in pounds, of the item. In this case the item is worth 5 lb. I’m hoping that this wasn’t noticed, but yes I did spell the word “spicy” wrong.
The Card That Caused an Explosion
This may be a bit hard to read. I could not find my camera and so I had to use a different method for pictures. Either way, this is the card that finished off the cat. As you can see on the bottom this card would have skipped my turn if the 65 lb limit had not been breached by Mike.
Arguments?
There were a few problems with my rules:
1. I drew the Item Card: Brick but the Brick is already in the cat and only one Brick item exists. What do I do?
2. If the cat starts out at 15 lb how do you lower the cat’s weight?
Changes Based on Arguments
1. If someone draws an Item Card and all items of the type are already inside the cat then the player has two choices.
1. The player can keep the card to use at a later time if that item becomes available. This uses the players turn when the card is used.
2. The player may discard this Item Card and may draw another card.
2. With the game as it is now and with all of the cards set as they are I have decided to refrain from the “underweight” condition for losing. I have decided to change the starting weight from 15 lb to 7 lb as the game ended in about 15 minutes.
Changes Based on Play
1. The Shuffle Cards have no meaning when only two people are playing. The other person goes either way. With 3-4 players the Shuffle Cards seem like they will still have meaning. Therefore, when two people are playing all Shuffle Cards must be removed for 2 player games.
2. The Reverse Cards serve the same purpose as the Skip Cards when playing with 2 players. In this situation treat the Reverse Cards as Skip Cards.
3. I started wondering, as the game was being played, how to use the items that were taken out of the cat through the gameplay. The solution was simple. There must be two discard piles instead of one. There needs to be two discard piles, one for Item Cards and one for all other cards. This way when an item is taken out of the cat the card related to that item can be taken out of the Item Card discard pile and can be placed back in the deck of cards. After the card returns to the deck, the deck must then be shuffled.

What Did I Watch?
I watched the same items that I watched on the first iteration, but with one extra item added. What happened each turn.
The weight of the cat.
The amount of time the game took to complete.
Each cards effect and what needed to be changed based on the effects.
Anything that just was not working and needed to be tweaked or deleted entirely.
As Kevin is about 30 years older than Mike and I, I was watched to see his reactions.

Final Turn
Kevin drew the Habanero item card which carries a weight of 2 lb. It also skips the next two people. This added effect did not matter as the weight limit was reached. Kevin lost as the two pounds pushed the cat’s weight over 65 pounds to 67 pounds.
Score Sheet
Score Sheet: Right Side
The right side of the score sheet was a new addition so that an ultimate winner could be picked if more than 2 people were playing. This score sheet kept track of the amount of pounds each player put into the cat or took out of the cat each turn. The net total of item weight put into the cat and taken out of the cat decided who ultimately won of the player’s left. In this situation, Mike had a net weight of 18 lb and Kayla had a net weight of 12 lb. The ultimate winner was Kayla and Mike moved into 2nd place.
Cat After PhotoI’d say I need a bigger cat. He was definitely way overstuffed.
Arguments?
There weren’t many arguments. The only argument that occurred was from Kevin and Mike. They became bored whenever the same cards were drawn over and over again.
Changes Based on Arguments
In order to stop drawing the same card I believe that smaller cards need to be used. I tried shuffling the index cards but they are a bit too large to shuffle properly. The cards need to be about half the size of the index cards, especially if children are playing the game. My hands are small, but I know that a child’s hands are much smaller than my own.
Changes Based on Play
Overall I was happy with the end result of the game. I do need a bigger cat as can be seen a few slides up.
