Main heading/ cover line Body copy

headline

Fonts and colour scheme <the final masthead font, I have chosen this

font because it has a cracked surface which fits in with the hip hop image. It stood out compared to the other fonts as it is more unique and relates/appeals to the target audience.<chosen cover line font, stands out and is a bold head line which will draw attention from the audience and intrigue them to want to find out more hence they want to buy it.<chosen body copy font for articles, doesn’t over power the cover lines but still is a font which fits in with the genre and will make the cover more interesting and appealing to the audience.<chosen colour scheme- I have chosen this scheme as due to my research I have found bright blue and bright pink go well together and relates to other hip hop magazines. Also it appeals to the target audience and you can do different versions with the colours. Moreover it features stereotypical boy/ girl colours making ensuring it reaches out to both genders.<using the colour scheme above I have chosen to use the white as the background as the text will show up better. I will have the masthead blue and pink as the main headings and cover lines. Finally the black will be the body copy font they all equally appeal to the target audience and equally stand out neither is more over powering.

Organisation of actors, locations, costumes or props

For the main images and article it will be on Emily Brown, I recently attended a Jason Derulo concert so I will use photos from this on the front cover and a small photo for the contents page. For the front cover it will be a medium long shot so of Emily using a guitar and a stool as the props the girl will be dressed like a hip hop artist. For the contents page I am using pictures of other solo artists, of Emily, Jason and a photo of prize giveaways.
