Introduction

Replication information without signin into the customer system.

Receive periodically replication and system information.

For partners only and end users.

The replication dashboard is developed for Quick-EDD/HA software from Traders and is supported

from Quick-EDD/HA Tools version V150901.

The dashboard is based on the input from the Quick-EDD/TOOLS program EDH_SPVLST. This program

can send an email with the replication status and system information.

The IBM POWER i system should be enabled to send periodically email to our report server. This can

be done through a job schedule or an own CL program that runs with delays.

The email address to send to is [email protected].

The dashboard is provided as is and does NOT guarantee uptime.

The time customer data is saved in our database is also limited to 12 months.

EDH_SPVLST settings in Quick-EDD/HA

- ENV (environments) can be * for all of named for a specific environment;

- EXCLENV (exclude environments) Exclude environments from the report. For example “old” or test

environments;

- Mail address must be [email protected] this where we handle the spoolfiles for the

dashboard;

- Subject can be left default;

- FROMADR (sender) this must be the same as configured in on the website dashboard for the system

info (UPPER- and lower case sensitive).

If you also want to receive this spoolfile at another email box the press F9 and page down to goto the

next screen where you can add a second email address to send the spoolfile to.

Mail settings in Quick-EDD/HA

In order to let the system send emails you need to define the SMTP server in Quick-EDD.

The set the SMTP server in Quick-EDD choose option 4 from the main EDH menu:

Set the correct IP address or host name at the SMTP line and test the setting.

The EDH_SPVLST program will ONLY use the SMTP value and Authentication from these settings.

The “Send a test” mail function needs all settings (if needed also the authentication setting).

Replication dashboard website

The website address is http://www.edhreport.com/report

Sign in into the website with your user account or request a user account.

New user accounts must be approved.

Use the Help function to guide through the settings and dashboard.

The correct order to see new client systems is:

- Make sure the office/distributor exists (admin user function);

- Make sure the partner exists (office/distributor user function);

- Make sure the client exists (office/distributor/partner user function);

- Add the system and assign this to the correct client.
