How is the ATAR Calculated?
Inter-subject Scaling
• Inter-subject scaling is where raw scores for any given subject are adjusted so that different subjects can be compared.
• Inter-subject scaling will not enhance or diminish a student’s performance in their subjects. Scaling allows for performances to be compared across all subjects.
