Submitting Mileage For ODP Leagues

Monthly vs. Bonus BasedLeagues that pay mileage monthly

USHL – paid by USHL via direct deposit NAHL/NA3HL Frontier Division – paid by NAHL via direct

deposit SPHL – Usually delayed until the middle of the following

month and paid via direct deposit from ODP Manager

How much is mileage? USHL – 8% of the cost of a gallon of gas ($3.99/gal and below)

10% ($4.00/gal and above) per mile Calculated each month from nearest MSP gas station to

Johnathan Morrison NAHL and NA3HL “Frontier Division” Only - $0.22/mile SPHL: Dependent on the number of games played that month.

Monthly vs. Bonus BasedLeagues that pay mileage at the end of year via

a bonusBonus is based off the number of games you

workedNA3ACHA

How do I submit mileage?Anyone who skates a game in a league that

pays mileage monthly will get an email at the end of the month

USHL/NAHL/SPHL/NA3HL Frontier Division

Email will contain the followingLink to Mileage Submission WorksheetNotes on submitting mileage

Midnight CST of the 10th of the month.Example: September Mileage is due on the 10th of

October.

No excuses, get it in.

Late submissions will be paid one month later.

Submit only for the prior month!

TermsAll games scheduled through ODP Ranger MUST be

included on the worksheet.

No exceptions. If it was an ODP scheduled game, it must be included.

The ODP Mileage chart (tab on the sheet) must be used.

If not coming from a city in the chart, use Google Maps.

IMPORTANT:“Click Here” must be clicked to finish submitting

mileage. If you don’t do both, you won’t get paid. All leagues are submitted through the same “Click

How mileage is figured.Whatever league you’re headed TO is

responsible for your travel (mileage).

Whatever league you work last (before heading home) is responsible for your travel home.

Any game within 50 miles (100 miles round trip) is considered a LOCAL game and does not pay mileage.Examples

Norwalk house to DSM rink (13 miles)

Requesting a mileage exception

If you feel that a trip deserves mileage because you are picking up a non-monthly mileage paying league game on your way back from a USHL/NAHL/SPHL game you may request an exception.

All exceptions must be requested prior to submitting mileage.

Request must be sent to director of that league. Either Chris or Johnathan Chris: NAHL Johnathan: USHL/SPHL Not SCOTT ZELKIN or MARK FAUCETTE!

Requesting a mileage exception

Example: Live in DSM Skate in Fargo Friday and Saturday Skate in Rochester on Sunday Return home Sunday after your Rochester game.

This trip would qualify for a mileage exception.

We don’t expect you to drive from Fargo to Rochester to DSM without mileage.

This would be a USHL exception request since you’re asking the USHL to pay your mileage.

You would email Johnathan and ask for an exception.
