Indefinite and Reflexive PronounsIndefinite pronouns do not refer to a particular person or thing. They can be used in the subject or predicate of a sentence. For example: anybody, both, either, everyone. Reflexive pronouns reflect the action of the verb back on the subject. They cannot be used as the subject of a sentence. For example: himself, themselves, herself, myself, ourselves.

ActivityPronoun Hunt Choose an article from a magazine or newspaper. With a family member, pick sentences from the article and exchange their pronouns with examples of indefinite and reflexive pronouns. Discuss how the sentences’ meanings change when the pronouns are changed.
