No Bid shall be considered by theBoard of Trustees of the Village of

Greenport that is submitted by anycontractor, person or entity that is inarrears to the Village of Greenport, orthat is in default as surety or otherwiseupon any obligation to the Village, andno Bid will be considered that is sub-mitted by any contractor, person or en-tity whose performance of any previouscontract with the Village has been un-satisfactory in the opinion of the Boardof Trustees. The Village of Greenport reservesthe right to reject any and all Bids re-ceived, to waive informalities and to in-crease, decrease, or omit any portions ofthe Contract Specifications. Subject tothe foregoing, the Village of Greenportwill award the Contract to the Bidderwhich in the opinion of the Board ofTrustees is the lowest responsible Bid-der qualified by past experience to sat-isfactorily perform the work requiredby the Contract and furnishing the re-quired security.

The successful Bidder must main-tain Worker Compensation Insurancewithin the statutory limits, Automo-bile Liability Insurance, and GeneralLiability Insurance Policy with limitsof $1,000,000 each occurrence andProperty Damage limits of not lessthan $1,000,000 each occurrence, with$2,000,000 aggregate for the benefit
