  • Day by Day Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive in Barcelona Barcelona is a beautiful Mediterranean city founded by the Romans that offers an impressive Gothic and Modernist artistical and cultural heritage. The city is a major economic centre, with one of Europe's principal Mediterranean ports. Particularly renowned are architectural works of Antoni Gaud and Llus Domnech i Montaner that have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is delightful to walk the beautiful and vibrant Barcelona streets enjoying the friendly atmosphere and Mediterranean weather.

At the old centre of Gerona the city preserves remains of its long history. The beautiful Gothic Cathedral treasures a textile jewel, the medieval Creation Tapestry. There are Arab and Jewish art in the city as the result of these cultures living side-by-side with Christianity for centuries. The Call is currently one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Spain. Calle Fora is the heart of this district, which had a synagogue and centers of cabbalistic study.

  • Day 4: Transfer to airport Fly to Granada The last kingdom to be reconquered by the Catholic Monarchs has an incredible artistic and historic heritage and a truly Moorish flavor. Moorish and Christian elements go hand in hand in the streets of Granada. Its cuisine, crafts and urban layout are a consequence of the city's glorious history. Fountains, viewpoints and Crmenes, the villas surrounded by gardens typical of the city, add to Granada's unforgettable charm. Not in vain was one of its oldest districts, the Albaicn, declared a World Heritage Site, together with the Alhambra and the Generalife.

  • La Alhambra is the most important civil building preserved of Muslim civil architecture. The husband was involved in the 500-year celebrations of the discovery of the Americas and Columbus Day. They lived many years in the US in the 1990s and speak wonderful English. They are both very cultured and the lady is a super cook. She is the daughter of a national poetry price winner. The cortijo is located just a few kilometres outside of Ronda. The Cortijo is a working farm and is set in a rural and beautiful area a very unique and truly Spanish experience

    Transfer to Sevilla Sevilla is a beautiful city rich in history and monuments. Now-a-day Sevilla is a city with an intense nightlife that is experienced out in the open, thanks to the mild, local climate. The city was founded by the Romans and the Muslims ruled Sevilla from the year 711 until 1248 leaving indelible marks in the city. The height of Seville's splendor came with the Discovery of America as during the 16th and 17th centuries its port had the monopoly on trade with the overseas colonies. The intense trading activity in Seville during this period gave rise to an urban layout filled with small palaces, noble houses, churches and convents.
