That's when he met Elliot, who just so happens to be a dragon. Fast forward 6 years when Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) stumbles upon Pete we will see if the rumors of a dragon in the woods are true. What happens when the world knows about the dragon? Is the dragon a monster? Pete's Dragon is a beloved story from years past. This remake is quite fun. Watching Pete interact with Elliot and then with humans for the first time in 6 years is endearing and a joy to watch. There isn't really anything to give parents pause even Elliot's appearance makes him not as terrifying. Overall this is a fun family movie that everyone can enjoy. Rated PG for action, peril and brief language. I give it a 3.5 out of 5 tickets. Suicide Squad - Superman changed the game according to Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). What happens if the next meta-human isn't so friendly? She wants to put together a task force of some pretty bad guys.... ok they're villains. She wants to use this suicide squad to fight worse bad guys. When an other worldly threat does attack it'll be up to Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), and the like to defend our world. Suicide Squad is a polarizing movie. More than likely you will either love it or hate it. I personally thought it was really good. It has some amazing actors and actresses. The plot leaves a little to be desired, some parts needed to be fleshed out a little more and other parts could have been cut all together. Parents should know that the main characters are bad guys and so they do some bad things. The movie gets a little muddy when it wants you to root for those who have done bad things with little to no remorse. Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive content and language. Whether you think you'll love it or hate it give Suicide Squad a chance. I give it a 4 out of 5 tickets.
