Network Performance Element
The TE-R is a programmable, standards-based+ network interface device (NID) with all service assurance, performance optimization and networking features required for demanding, high-density layer 2 & 3 demarcation applications.
The TE-R supports up to 60 unique traffic policies and hierarchical regulators, and 120 L2-4 filters per-port for precise, granular, multi-service, multi-client traffic conditioning. Complemented by MEF-Certified networking and real-time monitoring features, the TE-R is tailored for QoS-critical, delay-sensitive applications.
Key Applications The TE-R is used extensively by service providers offering SLA-backed business services carrying diverse traffic priorities and applications. The TE-R is valued for it’s ultra-low latency and granular flow-based traffic conditioning in a compact, power-efficient footprint with exceptional reliability.
The TE-R’s unique combination of Carrier Ethernet, QoS monitoring, OAM, service activation testing and troubleshooting features allow service providers to efficiently establish, turn-up, monitor and maintain performance-assured business services - all with a single, cost-efficient, carrier-grade unit.

• Integrated MEF Certified Carrier Ethernet (CE 2.0) networking eliminates the need for a switch or router at the edge.
• Unique 1-way latency, delay variation, in-service throughput testing and more simplify troubleshooting of asymmetric services & networks.
• Integrated RFC-2544 & Y.1564 Service Activation Testing eliminates the need for hand-held test sets.
