Cabling for Africa (CfA), a company with close to 10 years has an experience of servicing

most medium to large scale local enterprises including the government, refer to

references in the latter parts of this response, CfA is also suitable to meet client

The company undertakes specialist accreditation and is a Cisco Specialized Partner

(currently the only one in Botswana). Cfa staff regularly involves itself on certification

processes to add to the differentiator effect. The company regards accreditation with

reputable and non-profit making worldwide standards setting organisations such as the

Building Industry Consultancy Services International (BICSI) as a good selling point for

the organisation. Manufacturers of networking equipment that have global recognition

(such as Enterasys, Hewlett Packard, Molex and Krone) are constantly engaged by CfA in

processes that allow them to guarantee and recommend the works that the company

offers. This gives CfA a competitive selling advantage.

Not only are we the only Cisco Specialized Partner in Botswana in addition CfA holds

manufacturer certifications in many “best-of-breed” networking products such as

Hewlett Packard. Our infrastructure plant is certified by companies such as Molex, ADC

equipment).

5.0 CfA Experience in Networking Solutions

Cabling for Africa was incorporated in Botswana in July 1999 as a private company

limited by shares. It is a 100 percent Botswana citizen owned company that has

continued to grow as a local brand in the over six years of its existence.

The Directors and Senior Management, who are all closely involved with the strategic

growth and operations of the company, have between them combined industry

experience that exceeds 50 years. This experience and knowledge has been put to good
