GWS Engineering, Inc., (“GWS”), Engineering
Consultants/Land Surveyors was founded in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana in January, 1994. Our
firm was organized to provide professional
services in the fields of civil engineering and land
surveying. Our firm was built on a legacy of
personalized client service, superior technical
execution, and a dedication to delivering our
client’s vision. We quickly assimilate each
project’s scope and requirements. Our staff’s
relationships, spanning twenty-one years, enable
us to quickly identify our roles and deliver various
types of design and survey related projects. Our
traditional approach is complemented by state-
of-the-art technology that facilitates precise, up-
to-date information.
GWS has assembled a staff with many years of
experience in the multitude of professional
services necessary to exceed each client’s
expectations for expertise, accuracy, innovation
and timeliness.
Our network of clients encompasses national,
state, and local public agencies, architects,
consulting engineers, and private clients. We
have specialized expertise in the needs of

LAND SURVEYING
Land surveying is the technique and science ofaccurately determining the terrestrial or threedimensional space position of points and thedistances and angles between them. Thesepoints are usually, but not exclusively, associatedwith positions on the surface of the earth, andare often used to establish land maps andboundaries for ownership or governmentalpurposes. In order to accomplish their objective,surveyors use elements of geometry,engineering, trigonometry, mathematics, physicsand law.

Throughout his career, Mr. Landry has gained experience in all aspects of surveying, beginning as a rodman on
a survey crew, learning the newest forms of surveying technology, and ultimately managing multi-million dollar
survey projects. Mr. Landry has vast experience in all phases of residential and commercial land development with
a diverse background managing private, municipal, state and federal projects. He is proficient with boundary,
resubdivisions, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, construction, and as-built surveying. It is because of his special attention
