Gammasphere measurement: Ex = 2345.1(14), also updated adopted energies by Yalegroup for 2nd state above threshold: ER = 651(4) keV

Shell model(H. Herndl et

al. Phys rev C58 (1998))

Upper limit achieved: 6.5T region ωγ < 3.4 meV, 8.0T region ωγ < 17 meV

Plan for Nov/Dec:repeat originalexperiment for whichinsufficient minimumbeam intensityachieved (sort of).

Stable beam last weekend

524 A keV 684 A keV

23Na, 524A keV, 684A keV (asked for 519A keV, 682A keV)

0.5 - 3 enA (5+)

Attenuated beam runs into MCP/IC, 23Na(p,γ)24Mg runs at different chargestates….all is well.
