Celect.org™ penetrates Canadian faith-based
market with new office opening in TorontoLarry Willard on Advisory Board as Celect.org™ partners with Castle Quay Books
Toronto, ON—Celect.org™, the
leading provider of web-based network
services for membership organizations,
announced the opening of its Toronto-
based subsidiary, VComm Network
Canada, Inc. Located in Toronto’s down-
town core, the new office will employ
12-14 sales and engineering profession-
als by year-end.
Additionally, Celect.org announced
a partnership with Castle Quay Books,
one of Canada’s leading Christian
publishing companies. As part of the
alliance, Castle Quay’s President &
CEO, Larry N. Willard, has joined
Celect’s Advisory Board, under which
he will play a prominent role in introduc-
ing Celect’s technology to the Canadian
market.
Aaron Walker, Chief Development
Officer of VComm Network, Inc., will
lead Celect’s Toronto office.
“We are extremely excited to
provide Canada’s faith-based communi-
ties with the option for a secure hub to
connect with one another online,” said
Walker. “Additionally, we are very
grateful for Larry Willard’s help, and we
look forward to leveraging his experience
in the industry.”
Ideal for churches, denominational
head offices, and para-church ministries,
the Celect.org platform features a “one
click–one system” solution, still await-
ing patent, which empowers users to
build and maintain web sites quickly and
easily.
“I am a strong proponent of the
Celect.org offering, and I believe it will
revolutionize communication for the
faith-based market,” said Willard. “I look
forward to working with the Toronto
team to demonstrate how ministries can
alleviate the need for specialized web
masters, and complex programming
languages, and still maintain their web
sites in a professional manner.”
In continuing to help Celect.org™
make its mark as a pioneer in the
web-based networking services industry,
co-founders Tim & Tony Roth recently
filed a patent application for an
“Organizational Network & System
Method.” This proprietary technology
allows organizations to safely operate
their business and member management
via the Internet.
“Celect’s patent-pending technology
has been specifically developed for
users faced with complex web site
requirements, limited budgets, and
minimal web experience,” said Founder
& Chief Strategy Officer, Tim Roth.
“Designed to efficiently facilitate
communications with the public (as well
as with an organization’s internal
constituency), our technology is the first
of its kind to allow ministry organizations
and churches to create professional sites
for public view – and to provide a
private ‘intranet’ capability that
connects community members behind a
secure access interface.”
Specific features of the Celect.org
platform include member directories,
contact management, member network-
ing, financial management, event
management, member profiling, donation
and fundraising, blogs and forums, real-
time data imports and exports, bulk email,
messaging and e-newsletters, photo
albums, media galleries and podcasts,
online interactive surveys and quizzes,
and full e-commerce storefronts.
