One of Britain’s best-loved comedians and scriptwriter to a galaxy of stars from Tommy Cooper and Morecambe and Wise to Kenny Everett and Jasper Carrott, Barry is joined, for your evening’s entertainment, by fellow I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue stalwart Colin Sell…at the piano.

Edwina Hayes is a singer/songwriter described by Nanci Griffith as ‘The Sweetest Voice in England’. Her version of Feels Like Home was featured in the major motion picture My Sister’s Keeper.

As well as her own gigs, Edwina is often invite to support major artists on tour and over the last few years has opened shows for Van Morrison, Nanci Griffith, Roger McGuinn, Jools Holland, Loudon Wainright III, Roy Harper, Sam Baker, Sandi Thom, Daniel Beddingfield, KT Tunstall, Chris Difford, Glenn Tilbrook, Justin Townes Earle, Ruby Turner and Lulu.

Jinski have a wealth of great original songs that draw upon acoustic and country roots whilst remaining resolutely modern – songs that tell stories of love, joy, loneliness and longing. Intricate, soulful, beautiful songs; foot-stomping, sing-a-long, raucous songs; music for the head and the heart, full of passion and originality.

Ryedale Open Art Exhibition“A fantastic display of talent.”

Saturday 16th – Saturday 23rd July (except Sunday) 10.00am – 4.00pm Free entry

Over two hundred works of art, including painting, sculpture, metalwork, textiles and ceramics, will be on display in this exhibition by local Ryedale artists.

Most works are for sale, so visitors have an opportunity to own a piece of work by a local artist.

Hailing from York, Jess Gardham has been passionate about music for as long as she can remember. She first began writing songs at the age of 12, then her dad taught her to play the guitar so she could accompany herself.

Now Jess is in her mid-twenties and her musical career is going from strength to strength having shared a stage with international stars KT Tunstall, Kathryn Williams, Claire Hammil and the legendary Tony Joe White.

Andy Stones & Martin Gough Andy's brand of northern-tinged acoustic song crafting has had comparisons drawn to artists such as John Martyn, Paul Simon and Richard Thompson.

Andy Stones is a singer/songwriter and guitarist, born and raised in Yorkshire's capital city, York. He started playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of 14, and now Andy has gained a wealth of experience playing the acoustic music scene all around the north of England. He has made various appearances on local and regional radio as well as performing at The BBC's Television Centre.
