It’s Baltimore, 1962: the ‘50s are out and change is in the air.

Baltimore’s Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance!

When Tracy wins a spot on the local TV dance programme she is transformed overnight into a teen celebrity. But can a trendsetter in dance and fashion vanquish the programme’s reigning princess, win the heart of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a television show without denting her ‘do? Only in Hairspray! Welcome to the ‘60s!

Tracy, along with her large cast of friends and a live band, will be dancing the night away to Hairspray’s fabulous 60’s inspired score, which includes ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’, ‘Welcome to the 60s’, ‘Mama I’m a Big Girl Now’ and ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ and many more.

Sioe Haf y Ganolfan eleni yw’r ‘Hairspray’ hwyliog, wedi’i gosod yn Baltimore ym 1962: mae’r pum degau wedi dod i ben ac mae ‘na newid ar y gweill. Dim ond un peth sydd ar feddwl Tracy Turnblad, merch fawr gyda chalon fwy, sef dawnsio! Bydd Tracy, ynghyd â chast mawr o ffrindiau a band byw yn canu a dawnsio nerth eu pennau i sgôr ysbrydoledig o’r chwedegau sy’n cynnwys caneuon megis ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’, ‘Welcome to the 60s’, ‘Mama I’m a Big Girl Now’, ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ a llawer mwy.
