Sports and Science Challenge Day Camps (in cooperation with different faculties and PEPS)Weeks of July 7, July 14, and August 11, 2014
Ages 12 to 14
The Sports and Science Challenge Camp (three one-week sessions) lets kids experience a variety of scientific and sports activities. Hands-on workshops in the afternoon give campers a chance to satisfy their interest in and curiosity about science. Mornings are devoted to sports activities.

Faculty of Music Day CampsLaval’s Faculty of Music, in partnership with the Centre de loisirs Saint-Sacrement, offers a variety of activities at the Université Laval Music Day Camp, including an introduction to music for kids aged 5 to 8 and a two-week intensive camp with instrument instruction and a final concert These activities are offered on campus, and educational support is provided by advanced students from the Faculty of Music. The camp is certified by the Association des camps du Québec.

Regular summer coursesMay 5 to August 15, 2014
Université Laval offers some 1,300 regular courses on campus during the summer semester. These courses can help you move ahead in your university program or explore new fields. Summer sessions vary in length from 1 to 15 weeks depending on the courses chosen.
Starting March 3, 2014, you will be able to select “Summer 2014” on the advanced course directory search form to view the courses on offer. www2.ulaval.ca/les-etudes/cours.html
Year in, year out, some 150 distance courses are offered in various fields during the summer semester. Most of these courses run for 11 weeks, beginning in early May and ending around July 20.

Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier “En français à Québec!” Immersion ProgramJune 29 to August 1, 2014
Université Laval will play host to a group of 400 students from around the globe for a five-week French immersion program in Québec City. Monday to Friday, students attend classes from 8:30 a.m. to noon and participate in a variety of on-campus activities in the afternoons. Since it is an immersion program, they are required to speak French at all times.

Camp Shad ValleyJune 29 to July 25, 2014
Shad Valley is a four-week enrichment program. Every summer, Université Laval invites young leaders of tomorrow to explore science, technology and entrepreneurship. Université Laval offers the only bilingual Shad Valley program, so campers must be fluent in English and French. Students will live in residence alongside university instructors and professors.
