June 2015: Meredith Kochan, Class of 2008, is performing in the lead role of Luisa in The Fantasticks, now playing at the Cahn Auditorium in Evanston, Illinois. It comes as no surprise that Meredith's incredible voice and performing talents have been noticed by Chicago Tribune
critic, Chris Jones. He wrote, "Sitting there Sunday afternoon, I found the expanded orchestrations to be exceptionally pleasurable, and a useful reminder of Schmidt's composing talents. The other big positive in this show is the work by Meredith Kochan, whose singing as Luisa is exceptionally resonant and who oozes charm." May 2015: Michelle Wheeler, Class of 2011, graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While at UT, she served as a board member for the Student Nurses Association and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. May 2015: Sandy Shreves Aldrich, Class of 1983, earned her MBA in Health Management from Western Governor's University. She is currently the manager of inpatient physician practices at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
May 2015: Todd Kapostasy, Class of 2002, is the proud
recipient of four Emmy Awards for his work as a producer at FOX Spor ts 1 in Los Angeles. Two of the Emmys were for editing, one was for a short feature and one was for a

Scholarship Winners
This year, the PHS Alumni Association has chosen three PHS seniors as recipients of the
2015 PHS Alumni Association Scholarship. Each recipient received a $1,000 scholarship.
Mark Hocevar, graduated as the
Valedictorian of the PHS Class of 2015. He will attend Brown Uni-versity and the Brown Warren
Alpert Medical School as an 8-y e a r s t u d e n t i n t h e
PLME (Bachelor of Science/Medical Doctor) Program, majoring in Public Health. Mark served as the Class President for
his Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. Mark's favorite memory of PHS was qualifying for the VEX World Championship in Robotics.
Mark shares the following words of wisdom for the PHS Class of 2016...."Make the most of
every opportunity and everything that PHS has to offer, enjoy your Senior year, and have fun! You will blink and it will be over."
Brock Hurd, PHS Class of 2015
plans to study Finance at Ohio State University. He was a mem-
ber of the football, track, indoor track, wresting and intramural basketball teams. During his
time at PHS, Brock also partici-pated in Shantytown, Lake Humane Society, Senior Citizen Spring Clean Up Organizer
and Perry Local School District Safety Com-mittee. Brock states he will miss all the
friends he made over the years, as well as the teachers and coaches who have helped him become a successful person.
Kylee Kramer, PHS Class of
2015, is the daughter of PHS alumni Toni Nocida Kramer, Class of 1981. Kylee will study
Chemical Engineering at The University of Toledo in the fall. During her PHS career, Kylee
played soccer, track, band, diving, student council, NHS, Robotic Club, Library Council
and United Way Club. Kylee also donated her time to serve her community locally, nation-ally and internationally. Kylee recalls her fa-
vorite memory of PHS as playing in the halftime show with the band for the last time at Alumni Field.

Perry Class of 2027
We enjoy sharing information about the students who are direct descendents of our PHS alums and have just begun their education at Perry schools. We polled this year's kindergarten classes, the fu-ture Class of 2027, to discover their ancestors and learn what excited them most during the 2014-2015 school year. It’s also interesting to find out what they would like to be when they grow up. Many had parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and even great-great grandparents who graduat-ed from our hallowed halls! We see that they're very enthusiastic about diversity and that they have an interest in becoming first responders, sports figures and following in their ancestors' footsteps. They're already making us so very proud!

4th Annual Perry Bounce Night & Alumni
Basketball Games
March 14th, the PHS Alumni Association
hosted another successful Alumni Basketball Game/Bounce Night at the PHS CFC and
Competition Gym. The annual event raised over $500 for our scholarship fund. Over 15
alumni came out to play basketball. Players from the Varsity Co-ed team also joined us to
play against the winning alumni team!! The Red team won the first game, in a very close
game against the Gray team. Then, the Red team with the support of Greg Tomasic went on
to another victory against the PHS Coed Student team. Thanks to our sponsors:
Honeywell/Dwayne Wright, Rick Amos, Stan & Charon Collins LeBail, Susie Ritley McKoon,
Tim and Nancy Angeloro Steele and Rich & Karen Koch Sundy. This event is enjoyed by
the entire Perry community. Prior to game time, we hosted a pre-game event that involved
bounce houses for the kids. What a great way for the children to burn off some energy!!! We
are having this signature event again next year on Saturday, March 5th. We are coming up
with a different spin on the event. Watch for details and mark your calendars!!!
Annual Signature Event 2015 All Class Reunion Saturday, September 19, 2015—5:00 p.m. Perry Community Center R.S.V.P required by September 1st This year’s All Class Reunion will be held on Saturday, September 19th at the Perry Com-munity Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with dinner served at 6:00 p.m. - still at the
low price of $25.00 per person! Anyone who ever attended or worked at Perry schools is wel-come to attend. This is an opportunity to visit with your classmates and other alums from a

Touchdown Dash Saturday, September 26, 2015 Perry High School Race/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m.
The Bob Ritley Memorial & Perry Athletic Hall of Fame Run started in 2004 in memory of our long-time Perry High School football coach and teacher, Bob Ritley, who lost an enduring bat-tle with cancer in 2003. To date, over $50,000 in scholarship awards have been given to area
seniors that exemplify qualities that honor Coach Ritley. The Ritley family and the Perry Ath-letic Hall of Fame invite you to join with them to honor our beloved coach and friend at the
12th Annual Ritley Run. This will be a Chip Timed event. The race will begin at the Perry High School clock tower; it
will continue through the school campus and Perry Village, and runners will finish on the Alumni Stadium football field.

NOTE: We are also seeking nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. Nominees for this
outstanding recognition must be alumni of Perry Local Schools who have distinguished themselves at a high level of achievement in their particular field of study, life’s work, or community service in areas such as, but not limited to, the arts, business, education, government service, community service, science, and technology. Nominees must have graduated at least 15 years prior to the selection date. Individuals may be nominated posthumously.
