Jennifer recalls, “It was kind of weird walking in (to the old hospital). Thriving at FivePROGRESS EDITION

ur community and staff have a profound effect on the care you receive. This issue, you’ll see a blitz of information about the hard work, core values, fundraising and passion that gives way to Jamestown Regional Medical Center being one of the top 100 of Critical Access Hospitals in the country per the iVantage’s Hospital Strength INDEX®. The INDEX is the most comprehensive rating of rural critical access hospitals. The results recognize that JRMC is providing a safety net to our community – measured by over 70 different performance metrics including quality, outcomes, patient perspective, affordability, population risk and efficiency.

This accomplishment we share together.

In this progress addition of AppleSeeds we are reflecting on how your investment in the new facility and choosing JRMC for your care and as your employer has catapulted our growth in services, providers and access to legendary healthcare.

Please mark your calendars for July 28th for JRMC Thrivin5 Anniversary.

The event will feature a community open house with tours and appetizers. Additional activities will include baby and retirement photos, give-a-ways, hands-on learning and the JRMC annual meeting. We will also be sharing the voices of our patients, employees and donors, who are thriving because of JRMC.

See you soon and thank you for your loyal committment.

With gratitude,

Lisa Jackson

Volunteer recognition LEGENDARY SERVICE

“Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.” —MartinLutherKing,Jr.

This quote is within every one of our volunteers. Withinthemedicalcenter, you’llfindpeoplelikeLaurenTopp, a high school student who volunteers in the JRMC PatientCareUnitandFamilyBirthPlace.Shedrivesover an hour each way on Thursdays to donate her time. She makes drive because she “absolutely loves her volunteer job at JRMC.”
