• Learn the engineering and physics that go into the design of a wind turbine.

• Learn strategies involved in acquiring a wind park.• Develop basic desktop skills involved in business practices.• Establish a network within DTE to further relations in the

business world.

Pinnebog Daily Huddle Dashboard

• Used as a strategy tool to facilitate and update team members of Pinnebog Wind Park action items on a daily basis.

• Measured progress from a high level standpoint of township approvals all the way down to daily action items.

• Updated daily to track progress.

Renewables Contact Management System

• Updated Sharepoint website to be utilized by the whole Wind Development Team.

• Used to organize and record contact conversations in the spirit of Continuous Improvement.

Meade AAR and Process Map

• After Action Review used to document and record and differentiate techniques used in the development of the Meade Wind park and previous wind parks.

• Discussed intentions, what actually happened, lessons learned, and future actions.

• Made a Process Map documenting each step in the process of wind park development on a timeline.

Huron County Airport Elevation Ordinance Evaluation

• Created a diagram in order to better understand the Airport Elevation ordinance.

• Updated Municipal Airport Permit process map to allow the team to acquire elevation permits in a more timely manner.

Micrositing Process Map

• Learned the basic process of Micrositing.• Micrositing Process Map outlined the steps required to successfully

microsite a future project with minimal mistakes.• Supports Continuous Improvement within the Wind Development Team.
