Landscaping projects are a great hobby for the summer. Not only do they get you working outside, but they also improve the aesthetic of
your lawn.
PERFECTING THE CURRENT LOOK
One good project for the summer isn’t so much a project as it is a clean up.
Sometimes the project that can help improve the look of your yard the most is just a simple sprucing up job. That means
trimming the branches of your trees, cutting your lawn and filling in patches of
dead grass and weeding the garden.
If you are thinking about putting down sod, it is better to do so in the
spring or very early start of the summer. Grass takes a lot of care and doing it late into the summer season can make it harder for the
grass to take root.
Another easy project to make your grass a little greener is to
lay weed killer and and fertilizer to your lawn. This can be done
on your own, or by a professional.
MULCHING
If your flower beds are looking a little sparse, adding fresh mulch to them can
help. Not only will it help promote healthy growth and keep out the weeds, but just added a solid layer of mulch will help tremendously with the appearance
of a garden even before the growth effects take place.
THE MAIN THING TO REMEMBER FOR SUMMER IS TO WATER YOUR
GRASS IF IT’S NOT GETTING ENOUGH RAINFALL NATURALLY.
