their talents.
State of Ambition is a social enterprise with an aim raise the profiles of young
ambitions across the UK.
70% of State of Ambition’s net profit’s are used to provide grants and
scholarships to young people to help them realize their ambitions.
The aim of ‘Summer of STEM’ is to create networks for talented, young people with ambitions of working in
science or engineering.
The project looks to develop relationships between candidates and
industry leaders, which may lead to opportunities or educated career
guidance.
The project is open to 16-30 year olds to:
- Create a digital ‘Postcard of Ambition’ - Develop a 21-day online campaign
which showcases their best skills and talents for that ambition.
Jobsite and State of Ambition will facilitate the campaigns and ensure they
are seen by industry leaders.
The first mentor we have on board is leading structural engineer Roma Agrawal.
As well as working on London’s iconic shard building, Roma is a vocal advocate for encouraging the next generation of STEM workers and a spokesperson for M&S ‘Britain’s Leading Ladies’ campaign.
