The program covers one semester or an academic year and at the end of the program, students are given the opportunity to receive an international Edexcel certificate. Since 2011, master’s students studying at Eastern Mediter-ranean University have been given the unique opportunity to obtain two postgraduate diplomas simultaneously. Eastern Mediterranean University is an official overseas center for the University of Warwick WMG MSc Courses. EMU currently runs the WMG MSc courses in both Engineering Business Management and Supply Chain and Logistics Management programs. Students studying at the EMU Centre are fully reg-istered as Warwick WMG students, and are awarded exactly the same degree as students studying in the UK. Each day of the International Summer School has its uniqueness and diversity. Participants are able to select from an array of entertainment activities based on their interests. Events of the International Sum-mer School are intensively supervised by our assistants who ensure the safety the participants. The university’s recreational, private beach (EMU Beach Club) is located on one of the best beaches of not only Fa-magusta, but the whole of Northern Cyprus. The Beach club is equipped with an excellent infrastructure, wi-fi, a diving school, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a cocktail bar and a cafe. Free activities and entertainment programs of the International Summer School are available on our web-site.

The wide infrastructure of the university in-cludes on campus dormitories equipped with a laundry room, hairdresser, air-conditioned rooms, TV, Wi-Fi, and many more. Comfort-able dormitories have two to four beds per room and are the right places to meet with students from different countries.

The program and the fees of the Internation-al Summer School include three meals a day. The menu consists of the best of Mediterra-nean cuisine with a taste of foreign gustatoryhabits. Meals on campus are extremely healthy: olives, fruits, vegetables, salads, soups, seafood and meat dishes are always on the menu. Eastern Mediterranean Universi-ty Canteen and Cafeterias Unit consists of 16 cafeterias, 10 canteens, 11 snack rooms, and 9 snack kiosks.

The only international airport, Ercan State Airport, is located near Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is also possible to fly through Larnaca Airport. Both airports are only 40 minutes drive from Famagusta. Our International Summer school offers free pick-up services from /to the airport two times a week and our assistants warmly meet all summer school participants upon their arrival. If the day of arrival of the participant does not coincide with the free pick-up day, the university will help organize transportation. All tours and trips during the summer school program are assured by our efficient, comfortable and dynamic transportation fleet.

Standard DormIn standard dormitory 2 to 4 people share a room. The dorms are organized in blocks facilitating the accommodation of groups. Each block section is controlled by a guard and assistants who work on a special schedule during the summer program.

Private DormPrivate dormitories have rooms that can accommodate up to three people. The buildings are comfortable and have an excellent structural plan. Private dorms are surrounded by wonderful landscape. EMU Guest House The Guest House is a perfect residential complex for groups wishing to have more privacy. Up to four people can share a room and the Guest House is convenient for family or academic group accommodation.

Students who wish to extend their stay are expected to pay extra daily fees which are:

Considering the welfare of the students, 3 meals per day included in the package price have also been included in fees for extra days. Parents and those wishing to attend EMU International Summer School without taking courses will receive 80 USD discount on fees specified for two-week courses.

Offering Pearson Edexcel assured programs with international recognition, Eastern Mediterranean University Summer School also provides the students the unique opportunity to receive an international EDEXCEL certificate, which may be obtained with additional charges.

Our Trips

Located on the southeast coast of Cyprus, Famagusta is a historical port city founded in the 3rd century B.C.. Famagusta’s famous Othello castle, the Gothic Cathe-dral of St. Nicholas, the Lusignan and Venetian ram-parts, the monastery of St. Barnabas and the ruins of the ancient City of Salamis and Enkomi are the main attractions.
