Week 4: June 15-19 - Vacation Bible School @ SLEC

Morning Programming - 9:00 to 12:00 AM: Everest: Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power (Age 4 and Up)Morning programming will be provided by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Vacation Bible School. In order to participate in VBS, you must register with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. For more information, please contact Children & Family Ministry Coordinator Ann Allen at [email protected].

Afternoon Programming - 12:00 to 3:00 PM: LEGO Hands-On Learning & Field Trip Fun!LEGO Hands-On Learning (Age 4 and Up)Using LEGO bricks, students express and share ideas through hands-on learning. Fine motor skill develop-ment, as well as counting, addition, subtraction, and sequencing will be enhanced.

LEGO Imagination Station (Age 4 and Up)Participants will create their own unique “builds” with a variety of LEGO bricks and elements. This workshop is designed for those who love to create, build, and explore. Let your imagination soar!

After VBS and LEGO classes, campers will join us for fun filled afternoons of field trips, service projects, and games in the gym. Tag- you’re it!

Week 3: June 8-12 - Mystery Investigators!

All Day Programming - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: Camp Einstein & Young RembrandtsCamp Einstein: CSI -Forensics Science (Age 4 and Up)Put on your detective hat and become a CSI investigator with this weeklong class that explores topics in forensic investigation, evidence collection and techniques, and problem solving. Observe a crime scene and take fingerprints and footprints. Question subjects and perform DNA and blood analysis!

Young Rembrandts: Mysterious World of Mummies (Age 4 and Up)Explore the mysterious world of Egypt with Young Rembrandts! Spend the week digging into how the Egyptians lived as we investigate decorative objects in the treasured tombs. We will create drawings full of artifacts and Egyptian imagery using a variety of media. Come draw like an Egyptian!

Week 1: May 26-29 - Summer Fun Kick-off!

Morning Programming - 9:00 to 11:00 AM: LEGO Hands-On LearningLEGO Hands-On Learning (Ages 4 & 5)Using LEGO bricks, students express and share ideas through hands-on learning. Structured and self-led activities allow campers to explore and build unique creations.

LEGO Imagination Station (Age 6 and Up)Participants will create their own unique “builds” with a variety of LEGO bricks and elements. This workshop is designed for those who love to create, build, and explore.

LEGO Motorized Machines & Mechanisms (Age 7 and up) Using LEGO bricks and elements, students will explore and build machines and mechanisms. Campers will investigate motorized machines, calibration, and gear mechanisms. Using a specially-designed battery pack that interfaces with the LEGO bricks and elements, students can move and control their

motorized machines for a real adventure!

Week 2: June 1-5 - Space Explorers and Beyond!

All Day Programming - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: Camp Einstein & Young RembrandtsCamp Einstein: Universe Explorers (Age 4 and Up)Let’s explore this incredible universe of ours! We will dive deep into the abyss of our oceans to discover its hidden treasures and weird creatures. Then, we will blast off into the vastness of space and beyond to uncover a whole new world!

Young Rembrandts: Alien Week (Age 4 and Up)Are you interested in the solar system, aliens, and spaceships? Join us this summer for space travel! We will learn to draw spaceships, cartoons, and other “far out” things!
