A weekly, family devotion called The Family Connection. It is printed on the back of the sermon notes. Throughout the summer, these weekly devotions will be based on the Epistle reading, which is not being read, as an opportunity for you and your family to dive into God's Word, and grow together as you're doing it! There is a scripture reading, discussion questions, and family activity. Confirmation meeting for both youth & parents! Our confirmation program is undergoing some big changes for our rising 7th & 8th grade youth. Join us on either of these dates to learn more and prepare for the 2015-2016 confirmation instruction! You will sign your youth up for confirmation at these meetings, receive important dates and more- so your attendance is necessary. -Tuesday, July 7th, 6:30p-8:30p, Youth Central -Saturday, July 18th, 10:00a-12:00p, Youth Central.

Twenty-one new LCMS missionaries — along with their 44 spouses and children — began an intensive two-week orientation held by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in St. Louis to prepare for service in 13 countries around the globe. The missionaries — slated for East and West Africa, Latin America, Eurasia, Asia Pacific and Southern Asia — will serve in diverse roles, including as nurses, evangelists, deaconesses, theological educators and international-school chaplains.

Coming soon! Vicar Jim Kent and his wife Shauna will be arriving soon. We will be installing Jim on Sunday, August 2nd. Save the date! The Board of Assimilation will be hosting a picnic after the late services in the horseshoe weather permitting, Family Life Center if not. Casual Dress. Menu: Troop 383 BBQ and all the fix’ns.

Stop by the bulletin board outside the church office and read all the nice thank you notes from members of our staff who recently received longevity awards.

The Tai Chi class will meet for the last session on Thursday, before taking a summer break. Class will resume in August/Sept. We are blessed to have Martha Ajazi in our church family and to have her share her skills with us. We are considering having two classes per week when sessions resume, possibly one on Saturday morning. Watch the bulletins and newsletters for more information.
