Holiday Food Drive

The House of Peace is holding its Holiday Food Drive for Christmas. If you would like to donate some food items, pick up one of the sheets on the little tables behind the last row of seats in the church. Boxes can be provided for your food items if you like. Thank you for answering the call of Jesus to feed the poor during this holiday season. The house of Peace needs to fill 1,000 boxes of food this year. La Casa de Paz esta organizando su Holiday Food Drive para la Navidad. Si puede donar comida, hay una lista de los artículos necesarios en las mesas que están en la parte de atrás de la iglesia. Si necesita cajas para sus donaciones se las podemos proveer. Gracias por responder a la llamada de Jesús para alimentas a los pobres durante las temporadas del Día de Acción de Gracias y la Navidad.

ARISE UPDATES! ARISE (Association for Religious Instruction, Special

Education) offers classes geared to meet the special learning needs of children, teens and adults who are cognitively

disabled, learning disabled or emotional disabled. Classes are held on Monday evenings, starting up again on January 12th for the youths and adults at St. Gregory the Great Parish (60th and

Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee). Parent orientation for new child/teen and adults will be held on the first night of classes.

This is a specialized one-on-one program. Small group classes as well as RCIA preparation will be offered for adult with

disabilities. As of now we have 18 students with two on a waiting list.

ARISE needs volunteer catechists to be substitutes to work 1:1 with students. Catechist orientation and materials are provided.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in ARISE or becoming a volunteer catechist, please leave your name and

The Spiritual Services Department of Froedtert Hospital is seeking additional volunteer Communion Ministers

who would like to be involved in the sacred and meaningful work of bringing Communion to Catholic patients. Being a

regular Communion Minister requires approximately one to two hours per week. We are also seeking substitute Communion

Ministers who would fill in for those who are away. If you would like to become a part of this fulfilling ministry, please contact
