The Knights of columbus held the drawing for their Annual cruise Raffle on Memorial Day, following the 8:00 am Mass. Father Michal drew the winning ticket belonging to Judith Moore, who is the wife of parishioner and Knight Joe Sommer.
The Knights wish to express their sincere gratitude to those who purchased tickets to support this fundraising event. This is the third year the Knights have conducted a cruise raffle. Proceeds have been used to fund their charitable activities, such
as the purchase of coats which are distributed to needy children by catholic charities in Arcadia and Ft. Myers and by giving financial assistance to the Sarasota Medica l Pregnancy center which helps expectant mothers who carry their babies to full- term. The Knights have also contributed to St. Thomas More’s catholic Faith Appeal campaign.
If you are interested in joining the Knights of columbus, contact Dan Bulinski, Grand Knight , at [email protected] or 941-556-9673.
