MARCH 17, 2013 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: “This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.” We do have so much to be thankful for as Children of God. How blessed we are to have such a loving and caring God who does so much for each and every one of us in our daily lives. And certainly we continue to see God’s care and protection on those of our family. Isn’t the weather beautiful today? It sounds like the next few days are going to be gorgeous. This is so exciting to me because we begin to see so many of our family with us, who are unable to get out much during the winter season. We have had some good atten- dances lately, and even as many as 130 on Wednesday nights. That is one thing which has always impressed me about God’s family here at K.E. We usually have only about a 30 to 40 number drop from Sunday mornings to Sunday night/or Wednesday night. Most congregations I know or have been involved with will have half or less on Sunday night and Wednesday night. However, we only loose about 20 percent. Furthermore, when you consider those of our number who are unable to come twice on Sunday’s because of health, it shows a true commitment and love by our members to gather together to worship God. This is a great encouragement to me and hopefully to you as well. You may have noticed that last Sunday it was announced that this month has a 5 th Sunday. As always we try to put a little extra in on 5 th Sundays to cover special needs. This month we want to give extra for two reasons. First to cover budget shortfalls; to date we are about $2000 down since the beginning of the year. That equals out to an average of about $150 a week shortfall. Second, we were hoping to begin another improvement in our building, specifically some improvements or updates to our kitchen. So if we can all give a little extra hopefully we can meet some of these special needs. Well, I hope you all enjoy the rest of the week and I hope you will be present this Sunday, ready to worship God and give Him your best. Until then, remember God in all you do and know that the faithful will be victorious. : Greetings from the elders at K.E. Lookslike Spring here finally arrived after a longWinter , but not so bad weather-wise.

Some of our young ladies are planning twoevents soon. They have scheduled a Ladies’Day April 27, 2013 & also are planning acouple’s workshop in late July. Both havespeakers, singing and prayers. More detailswill follow in weeks to come.

Se have had a men’s fellowship andbreakfast the 2nd Saturday of the month. We always have a devotional and good break-fast usually prepared by Bill Heavin and Wes-ley Ewing. Please try to make effort to bethere at 8:00 every 2nd Saturday.

Keep praying for the Cartwrights aslittle Samuel went back to the hospital Mon-day. He was having trouble breathing withcomplications from the RSV. They are allheaded home now, but both babies are not outof the woods yet.

We were so saddened to hear of Mar-garet Jones daughter, Connie passing away onMonday. She had been in the hospital with flusymptoms, but her diabetic condition causedher to have a massive heart attack. Oursympathies to Margaret and her family at thisvery sad time.

Don’t forget to keep Hebrews 10:25.
