Many of us moderns avoid speaking about God altogether. This class will read and discuss a broad range of Jewish views considering what God might be, how we might come to know God and the nature of our relationships with God. The class will provide an opportunity to determine your own personal theology. But what "God" was he really referring to? And how we may relate to traditional conceptions of God that appear "outdated" in the age of modern science? Unlike the age of the biblical writers, we live today in an interconnected world that is ruled by science, technology, and secular thought. So where do we find room for God to act?
