School of Religion: Classes are usually held
every other Sunday of the month. Grades 1-6
from 8:30-10:15 AM; grades 7-Confirmation
11:30 AM-1:00 PM.
Baptisms: Baptisms are done after Mass on the 3rd
Sunday of the month at St. Anthony, and 4th
Sunday at St. Anne. Seminars are held as needed
on the 1st Tuesday of the even numbered months
and are required for parents and godparents.
Parents should contact the Parish office in the
first trimester of pregnancy to receive a Baptismal
Packet.
Marriages: Engaged couples must contact the priest
6 months prior to the anticipated wedding date.
Care of the Sick: Holy Eucharist is taken to the
homebound weekly. Please notify the Parish
Office to be place on the list or for hospital
visitations. Emergency calls handled
immediately.

Deaths: The family must make arrangements with
the parish office before contacting the funeral

God’s foolishness and God’s weakness, the Ten Commandments
and the foolish wisdom of humans—all lead us to the crucified
Jesus, the sanctuary destroyed and raised up in three days.
Prejudgments are obstacles to standing by the cross of Jesus, who
ties heaven and earth and all else together. Through Jesus, we are
redeemed and our life has meaning. By his glorious cross we are
saved. Jesus knows what each of us has inside. He offers strength

back of church. If you have any blessed
palms around your home from previous
years, bring them to church and put them in
the box. They will be burned for ashes to be used on
Ash Wednesday.
Easter Fest – Sunday, March 25
The annual Easter Egg Hunt and
Festival will be held on Palm Sunday,
March 25, following the 10:30 AM
Mass at St. Anne. Candy and monetary donations are
appreciated; no hard candy or chocolate, please. Your
donation can be dropped at the parish office no later
than March 14. If you would like to volunteer, or
make goodies, please contact Anne Miller. Thanks for
your help!

Registrations are still being accepted for the 2018
Steubenville on the Bayou Catholic Youth Conference
to be held June 15-17, 2018 for grades 8-12, sponsored
by Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and
the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
The Conference registration fee is $155.00 + a
$20.00 late fee. Other expenses (not included in the
Conference fee) include Charter Bus, Hotel, and Shirt
Fees. A fundraiser will be provided to help defer these
expenses.
Registration packets are available in the Parish
