Happy New Year.!!!Lamentations 3:23 says “Great is his Faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning”.
2017 for us is a new dawn, full of possibilities and challenges. Always the unknown future has places before us a path of uncertainties, but one thing we ought to be certain of -the one who lead us continue to sojourn with us. He is with us - IMMANUEL. How great is the Lord who has lead us in the past years and is leading us forward amid all struggles and challenges of life.
Let 2017 be an year of new commitment and dedication. Let us renew our re-lationship with Christ and his church in this New Year and move forward with deeper faith and higher vision. Let us bring to mind our short comings of the past, confess them before God and try to correct them .He who cleanses us from our sins and renews us each day, be with us and guide us in his grace.As we start the year with new expectations, aspirations and plans, let these lines of the song be our prayer, each day:
Lead, kindly light, amid the encircling gloom, Lead thou me on;The night is dark, and I am far from home; Lead thou me on;Keep thou my feet; I do not ask to seeThe distant scene: one step enough for me.
May the faithful God help us to experience His presence in small steps, minute decisions, humble deeds and a life pleasing in His sight. May He use us for His Glory in this New Year and all the days of our life. Amen

ECO GARDEN HARVEST
Eco garden harvest . Our church is committed to the nature and health of our fu-ture generations. For the past two years Immanuel Mar Thoma church has been actively involved in our small eco garden. Kappa, Chena, Koorka, Chembu, Pa-vakka, Vendakka, and Kovakka was our main cultivation. This year the Koorka and Chena harvest has been a great success. Mr.Thomas Mathew (Babu) , Dr. Sam Joseph (Dr. Sam), Mr. Aju A. John (Aju) are the few people behind the scenes. We are looking for commitment from more participants to continue this project. Kindly support this project by buying the products that are on sale when it is harvested.

HOUSE TO HOUSE CAROLING
Let us thank our Good Lord for the blessings showered upon us for enabling us to complete our House to House Caroling successfully. We were able to raise $42,718.00 this year.
On behalf of the Office Bearers & the Executive Committee, I express our sin-cere thanks to all the Parish members for your sincere support and cooperation. Thanks to all the participants and the area prayer group representatives for making it a blessed one. Our sincere thanks to this year’s team of our great leaders – Mr. Regi Varughese, Mr. Saban Sam and Mr. Prijoe Philips and to the great team who played various instruments, Mr. Jojy John, Mr. Sam Alexan-der, Mr. Manosh Thomas, Mr. Jacob Mathew (Vavachen) and others. Greatly appreciate your sacrifice and effort that you all put forth to make this a grant success. Special thanks to Mr. Johnny M. Mathew, Mr. Jojy John and Mr. Fiji George in helping compiling the area order and the list, Mr. Johnson Varghese for the Video and photography and our whole hearted thanks to Mr. Biju T. HOPE CHRISTMAS The HOPE Christmas Carol Service will be held on Sunday, January 1st 2017 beginning @5:30pm at the Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, followed by dinner. Choirs from various churches will be participating in the program. All parish members are kindly requested to attend.

IMTC Edavaka Mission General Body Meeting NoticeA General Body meeting of the IMTC Edavaka Mission will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 right after the Edavaka Mission prayer meeting to elect the Office Bearers, Committee Members and an Auditor for the year 2017. All EM members are requested to attend.

The monthly senior citizens prayer meeting and the General Body meeting will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 instead of January 28th.The general body meeting which will be held after the prayer meeting includes, the read-ing of the annual report and election of 2017 office bearers.
