Bloomfield Baptist Family: Our Wednesday night activities have resumed, and we are excited about what the Lord will do as we gather together midweek. It is our goal to be intentional with the time that we have been afforded by the Lord. For your benefit here is what we are studying each Wednesday night: Adult Bible Study: What is Faith? (by R. C. Sproul) Faith is central to Christianity. In this study we will explore the doctrine of faith as the Bible defines it and how this plays a practical role in the life of the believer. Student Bible Study: What is the Church? In this study the students will learn about what the Church is, its importance, various marks of the church, as well as other practical information about the church. Children’s Choirs (1st-5th): Old Story New (by Marty Machowski) In this study the children will walk through portions of the New Testament. Half Notes (Kindergarten): The Ology (by Marty Machowski) In this study the children will explore theological truths in a systematic way as told in a fun and illustrated way. Quarter Notes (Ages 3 & 4): Everything a Child Should Know about God (by Kenneth Taylor) In this study the children will learn Biblical truths through a series of short stories and questions. We invite you to be a part of this wonderful discipleship opportunity each and every week from 6:30—7:30 p.m. We look forward to gathering with you. In Christ, Pastors Richard, Nick, & Matt

RECIPES NEEDED ASAP FOR NEW COOKBOOK!

Please send your favorite recipes to me any of these 3 ways: 1)email to [email protected], 2) mail to Marylou Crume/114 Freeman Ave/Bardstown KY 40004, or 3)hand-deliver. In addition to your (and your families') recipes, these recipes are especially requested: special diet recipes, favorite restaurant recipes, memorial recipes (recipes of those that are now gone), favorite recipes of your friends (recipes can be from ANYONE/submitters do not have to be members of our church. In fact, please let others know we would love to have their great reci-pes!) If you know of a great dish of which you'd like the recipe, please let me know and I will try to get any I can. Favorites from former cookbooks can be copied and sent to me, too. I hope to work on it all of August, sending it to production in September, so that they will be ready in time for Christmas. So please get busy preparing those great recipes, and try to get them to me by the end of August. Thanks! Marylou "Myrt" Muir Crume
