LEADER: This is the Word of God
CONGREGATION: Thanks Be Unto God
SCRIPTURE Acts 2: 32-39 (NKJV)
32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all
witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of
God, and having received from the Father the promise of
the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see
and hear. 34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he
says himself:
‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand, 35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’[a]
36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly
that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both
Lord and Christ.” 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart,
and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,
“Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of
you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the
Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your
children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord
our God will call.”

RESPONSIVE READING Psalm 17:1-5 (NKJV)
LEADER: Hear a just cause, O Lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.
CONG: Let my vindication come from Your presence; Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.
LEADER: You have tested my heart; You have visited me in the night; You have tried me and have found nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
ALL: Concerning the works of men, By the word
of Your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer. Uphold my steps in Your paths, That my footsteps may not slip.

NO, NOT ONE
There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus — No, not one! no, not one!
None else could heal all our soul’s diseases — No, not one! no not one!
Chorus
Jesus knows all about our struggles, He will guide till the day is done;
There’s not a friend like the lowly Jesus — No, not one! no, not one!
No Friend like Him is so high and holy —
No, not one! no, not one! And yet no friend is so meek and lowly —
No, not one! no, not one!
There’s not an hour that He is not near us — No, not one! no, not one!
No night so dark but His love can cheer us — No, not one! no, not one!
Was e’er a gift like the Savior given?
No, not one! no, not one! Will He refuse us a home in heaven?
No, not one! no, not one!

Special Giving Above Tithe and Offering
“The tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.” Leviticus 27:32
Every Christian should strive to learn how to be a cheerful giver. When we give what does it actually mean? It simply means we, cheerfully give to God our tithes and offerings. Tithing honors God. Are you giving the Lord His tithes or your tips? The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
