What does it involve? A SunGard Consultant will scope the

Windows file shares to be profiled and arrange a site visit

The consultant will visit site, install and configure an appliance server onto the network

CIFS fileshares (read-only) are mounted onto the appliance server

Appliance is left onsite until all shares have been scanned

Consultant documents findings in a report detailing:

– Top ten file types by extension (quantity, capacity) per share

– Top ten file types by extension (quantity, capacity) overall

– Quantity and size of files by Last Accessed Time

– Quantity and size of files by Last Modified Time

– Quantity of files with same name

The report is sent to you accompanied by the raw data files for your reference.
