Company Overview Sunrise CSP provides world leading Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology that produces high temperature thermal energy for cost competitive utility scale power. Sunrise CSP’s technology may also be used to provide energy for a diverse range of high and ultra-high temperature industrial and thermo-chemical processes. Sunrise CSP’s core technology is the Big Dish, a multi-purpose solar energy collection and delivery platform capable of producing heat at temperatures ranging from 500oC to more than 1,700oC. Sunrise CSP also offers a set of complementary technologies, including structural Solar Mirror Panels, an energy storage & transfer system SUMO for delivering dispatchable solar power and an onsite manufacturing and construction system for solar fields, the Factory-in-the-Field. The Big Dish and its complementary technologies can be deployed in stand-alone solar power projects, with or without storage, or supplemented with gas, biogas or other fuels to deliver utility scale, dispatchable power generation systems.

Core Technology Sunrise CSP recognised that the greatest opportunity to revolutionise the economics of CSP lay in offering the most optically and thermally efficient solar collector, but at a fraction of the cost normally associated with dishes. The Big Dish: The Big Dish is a multi-purpose high temperature solar energy collection and delivery platform. It is a patent protected, low cost solution for high performance dish solar concentrators. Figure 1 illustrates the significant technical advantages of the Big Dish compared to other CSP systems. The Big Dish delivers higher solar-to-electric conversion efficiency due its high temperature operation, highest optical efficiency and lowest level of thermal losses of all CSP systems.

Solar Mirror Panels (SMP): SMPs are a patented solar mirror panel design that is focally accurate and highly reflective, designed for automated mass production, optimised for installation, exceptionally durable with low O&M costs. The SMP technology also has broader application across the CSP industry. Factory-in-the-Field (FiF): The FiF is a scalable, relocatable, on-site fabrication and construction facility that allows utility-scale Big Dish projects to be developed cost effectively in any location. It reduces solar field deployment costs and maximises local jobs and procurement. SUMO energy storage system: Sunrise CSP’s patented SUperheated steam - MOlten salt (SUMO) energy storage solution uses an industry standard molten salt solution uniquely integrated with a Big Dish solar field to offer the highest efficiency CSP system with storage.

Lower Cost - Higher Return on Investment Figure 2 illustrates how our high performance technologies coupled with our unique approach to local on-site, low cost, high quality fabrication of Big Dish solar fields results in a competitive Levelised Cost Of Energy (LCOE) and this means a superior return on investment.

Application of Sunrise CSP’s Technology Sunrise CSP’s primary market focus has been the development of near term dispatchable power generation opportunities, based on direct steam generation for conventional Rankine cycle power plants. Other applications for our technology, include: • Super-critical steam for power generation or thermochemical syngas production; • High temperature industrial heat for desalination and enhanced oil recovery; • Brayton cycle turbines or CPV receivers for direct on-dish electricity generation; • Ultra-high temperature reactors for the production of hydrogen and other fuels, minerals

processing, and other advanced thermochemical processes. Sunrise CSP’s Big Dish is ready for commercial deployment today for dispatchable electricity and high-temperature steam applications and it is positioned to support the growing demand for competitively priced clean energy by global industry.
