The Book of Mormon the Musical Sunday, March 3, 2013

Nine 2011 Tony Awards confirmed it was the Best Musical of the Year with reviews off the charts, including: EW: “An exhila-rating Broadway musical at once revolutionary and classic, hi-larious and humane, funny and obscene” NY Times: “The best musical of this century. Heaven on Broadway. AP: “The Book of Mormon manages to offend, provoke laughter, trigger eye-rolling, satirize conventions and warm hearts, all at the same time. Amen to that. Come see what all this buzz is about! En-joy a delightful lunch before the 1:00 pm show at The Fountain on Locust. L ** Contains adult language and religious satire. $149

If you did not call the office in 1994, it may have been because you had not heard of Seniortours.• People have asked me (2 at last count) if I enjoyed traveling with groups. When Charlie and I decided to start our business in 1994, I did not know what to expect. As I sit in 2012, I view it as the second best decision I ever made, and I still enjoy the people and traveling.• Please do not leave home without Sunrise Tours and call us with your ideas. As in 1994, we still value them very much.• My best decision was to marry Charlene for those of you who did not know. But that had little to do with finances.• Thanks for traveling with us. Remember, the success of any small business is based on who you hire. Sunrise travelers, we leave you in good hands.

NEW TOUR!

Page 26: Sunrise Tours - Fall 2012

Sunrise Tours has taken two 30-day journeys to Alaska by motorcoach via the Alaska Highway and Alaska Marine High-way as well as offered many Alaska Cruisetours and we can assure you Alaska is a beautiful destination you should explore beyond perusal of a picture book or at-tendance at a travelogue! Next summer we will again offer a 30-day journey to Alaska. We encour-age you to bring your adventurous spirit, casual clothes, good walking shoes and for those of you who are shutterbugs, a good camera because you are going to see and experience America’s last frontier, Alaska and some of America’s Mainland and Canada’s most beautiful areas en route. Our journey to Alaska will take us across the states of Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana and into Canada to travel the Icefield Parkway through Banff and Jasper National Parks with a 2-night stay in Jasper where we will take a cruise on beautiful Maligne Lake. We will continue northward follow-ing the Alaska Highway which begins in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, continues north through the Yukon Territory and officially ends in Delta Junction, AK. A Riverboat tour on the Chena River in Fairbanks, wilderness tour into Denali National Park, glacier cruise on Prince William Sound from Whittier, and more will fill our days before we begin our journey homeward. For the return portion of the journey on the Ma-rine Highway you must choose one of two options:• a 7 night cruise aboard a Prin-cess cruise ship and 2-night stay in the Vancouver-Bellingham,WA area for sightseeing or• motorcoach drive to Fraser, BC, White

FYI: The Alaska Ferry system is used by the local Alaska residents as well as visitors so visiting with the local people taking the ferry as well as listen-ing to Ranger talks on the cruise will give you a more personal and down to earth insight into life in Alaska. The accommodations on the ferry are more rustic – bunk style beds and cafeteria food. If you choose this option, you will be spending two nights en route to Skagway, one night in Skag-way, 2 nights in Juneau, 3 nights on the ferry. While in Juneau, you will be given choices of optional excur-sions. The Princess cruise will have regular beds, include all your meals, and onboard entertainment and will have optional excursions at each port visited. The itinerary of the cruise is: cruising Hubbard Glacier Bay 3-8 pm, cruising Glacier Bay 9:15 am-7:30 pm, Skagway 7am-8:30 pm, Juneau 6:30 am-4 pm and Ketchikan 10 am-6 pm and the last day at sea. Many ho-tels, restaurants & activities require pre-payment.Fly/Coach: The motorcoach portion of the tour is fully refundable (except for non-refundable expenses incurred by us) up to the day before departure for medical rea-sons. The refund of the flight portion of the cost is non-refundable.Cruise and International tours: Refund for cancellation of cruises and international tours depend on the cruise line or tour op-erator. Please call for questions on a spe-cific cruise or tour.Final PaymentYour final payment is due 30 days before departure for an all-motorcoach tour and 60 days before departure for tours involv-ing air unless otherwise noted. One-day tour payments are due in full upon reser-vation. Please call us in reference to cruise payment deadlines. Tour Price Inclusions (and tipping policy)The price of the tour includes all attrac-tions, lodging, motorcoach transportation, breakfast and dinner daily (unless noted otherwise), and tips for hotel, airport, and restaurant personnel. If the tour involves air travel, the cost of the ticket is includ-ed unless otherwise noted. Some airlines charge for checked baggage and that is not included in the tour price. Tips for the driver, tour managers, and step-on guides are left to the discretion of the traveler and should be in accordance with services re-ceived.Trip InsuranceFor 2 main reasons we highly recom-mend the purchase of trip insurance and can provide information on Berkley Insur-ance: 1) Trip interruption – There are cir-cumstances that can prevent passengers from fully participating in a tour and may require an early departure or extended stay. For example, if a passenger suffers an injury that prevents the traveler from continuing on the tour, insurance will cover

the cost of the extended stay, the cost of transportation home and the value of the missed tour (subject to claim submission and acceptance by Berkley Insurance). If you do not have insurance, you will per-sonally incur these costs and it can be very expensive. 2) Trip cancellation - If you are forced to cancel a tour for medical reasons (for you or an immediate family member), having insurance ensures a complete re-fund of monies paid (except for the cost of insurance). Sunrise cannot guarantee this because there are times when monies are paid on your behalf prior to departure.Pick-up points For each trip, we determine the pick-up points based on point requests. We have pick-up points to service the north, west, south and central areas of St. Louis metro-politan area and St. Charles and Illinois. All pick-up points allow parking for your ve-hicle. Sunrise’ pick up point partners offer the use of parking spaces during tour as a courtesy to Sunrise travelers. Neither Sun-rise Tours nor parking lot owners assume responsibility for incidents occurring to parked cars. You will be notified of which pick-ups we are using for your tour in a letter about 2 weeks prior to departure. If you would like to stay overnight before leaving on the tour, we can provide a hotel room at some of our pick-ups for a reduced rate. If our routing allows, we may pick up along the way in outlying areas. IdentificationA passport is required on any tour that leaves the United States, including Canada. Photo ID’s are required on all fly tours and recommended on all tours.Singles Requesting RoommatesIf you would like to go on tour with us, but do not have a roommate for a specific trip, let us know and we will match you with someone else (same sex of course). Just let us know at least 60 days before departure and we will room you with another traveler at the double rate. If there is no roommate available on the tour you request, you will still only have to pay the price of a double. If you decline the roommate assigned, you will be responsible for the single supple-ment. Of course, if you prefer to travel individually, you can still sign up for the sin-gle fare. This offer is not valid on cruises, and some select tours.Method of PaymentsFor deposits we accept checks or cash. For

final payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, check or cash.Seating on the MotorcoachSeating is assigned and will be rotated on a daily basis. Special seating requests are honored on the basis of availability. Paying the single fare does NOT ensure you will have a seat to yourself on the coach, it only ensures you a room by yourself.ResponsibilitySunrise Tours is not responsible for any in-jury, delay, loss or accident due to any act or negligence on the part of any person or company rendering services on any of our tours. We reserve the right to change any itinerary.
