The Detroit Lion’s Claim to Shame:

One of four teams to never reach the Super Bowl to date.

Their last playoff win was in 1991 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Reached the playoffs seven times since 1991, but haven’t won in 24 years.

The Buffalo Bill’s Claim to Shame:

Only team to consecutively make the Super Bowl four times.

Buffalo has not reached the playoffs since 1999.

Holds the record for most Super Bowl losses with Minnesota.

Only team to lose four playoff games in four consecutive years.

From 1991 to 2004, they did not make the playoffs while also recording nine seasons with 10 or more losses.

The Vikings have not reached the Super Bowl since 1977.

In Super Bowl IV the Vikings lost to the AFL champion Kansas City Chiefs 23-7.

The Colts went into Super Bowl III as 18.0 point favorites, but fell to the New York Jets 16-7.

As 12.5 point favorites the undefeated Patriots fell to the (10-6) New York Giants 17-14.
