This project will provide a platform for the users to explore details of SURAT city.

Registered users who wish to be regularly updated can easily be notified for the facilities.

User can suggest more details of the mentioned criteria, user can complain zone wise about various mishappenings in the city.

Surat Portal in the initial phase provides a user rich and friendly interface and details regarding major facilities of SMC and other companies.

Software Requirement: Browser (any) Hardware Requirement: Any device having browser and having internet access.

A purpose to choose this model is that each cycle is completed by a review involving the primary people or organizations concerned with the portal.

This review covers all activities developed during the previous cycle, including the plans for the next cycle and the resources required to carry them out.

The review’s major objective is to ensure that all concerned parties are mutually committed to the approach for the next phase.

Spiral model is a combination of sequential and prototype model.

This model is best used for large projects which involves continuous enhancements.

There are specific activities which are done in one iteration (spiral) where the output is a small prototype of the large software.

The same activities are then repeated for all the spirals till the entire software is build.

Thus, Surat Portal provides a brief collection of data related to the city with all major functionalities. Moreover it has an admin panel which dynamically uploads the data through forms and can delete it as well.

The site aims to be developed as a smart city portal in future which could provide traffic analysis, dynamic routes and locations of related searched information and lastly dynamic form generation.
