Surfs Up for Junior School
The National SurfGroms program has been added to our Term 4
Co-Curricular activities. Broulee Surf School
the lessons at North Broulee Beach with support from the
Sporting Schools Funding Program.
The program will be run on Monday afternoons after school
from 3.00pm-5.00pm.
Cost: Zero
Girls and Boys are welcome!
Students in Years 3-6 are welcome!
• Students will be supported by registered surf coaches at all
times. Activities will be run in water no deeper than waist
high.

Program Details:
Transport Students will either walk to the beach in a large group, or be taken in the mini bus.
Boards Boards will be supplied
Wetsuits Wetsuits are supplied, however students are encouraged to bring their own.
Equipment Towel, swimmers, jumper, bag for their surf gear and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
Label Please label clothes etc.
Pick up Students will need to be picked up at North Broulee Beach near the toilet block .
Finish Time 5.00pm.
Cancellations The program will run rain, hail or shine. The program will not run if there is

Swimming Skills Students will also swim in waist deep water as part of the program, 25m for the
youngsters, moving up to a 50m swim for Year 5 and 6 students.
