- Report on the Geopnysicai Survey and Diamon^ Drilling

on the Pottfield Industries Inc.

and Sweany Gold Corporation

CLAIM TB 8C3167 PIFHER TOWNSHIP, ONTARIO

Work began on the property on July 27th, 1986. A baseline was

established and Picket lines wete cut at 100 foot intervals

at right angles to the general volcanic formational strike.

A total of 4.4 miles of line cutting was involved in this work.

A VLP electromagnetomeifl'survey totalling 3*8 miles was carried

out over these lines and maps completed by August 10, 1986.

The survey outlined parallel conductors that corresponded with

the mineralization in the trenches along the north south road.

The conductors striking south 80 degrees east pinched out near

Peddle Creek in the west and were lessening in strength at the

east boundary.

3003 feet of diamond drilling in 13 holes of BQ size was carried

out on the property between August 19th and September 24th, 1986.

All the holes intersected mineralized shear zones, The drill

holes were aimed to intersect under the trenches where excellent

gold assays were obtained from the work done early in 1986.

Although the gold in the exposed trenches was found to be of

excellent grade, assay values wefre much lower in the drill inter

sections below the trenches and along strike in the same shears

located by the VLP electromagnetometer survey. The excellent

gold assays are related to oxidized pyrite zones at surface

that rake along the veins at a flat angle to the west. The

pyrite and chalcopyrite were greatly reduced at depth where

pyrrhotite was more prevalent. The gold then decreased with

the pyrrhotite. A 6^6 foot deep hole number S-86-13 was aimed

under zone l and on plunge where the gold was best in the trench

at the road, Shearing was located with some sulphides but the

zone did not change at depth.

*In Summary, the drilling tested the various trenches and exten

sions located by the surveys ahd found no significant economic

zone.
