Relevance to UNC Position: All of the following community-based activities are relevant to my position at UNC. Some are single events, but most are regular and frequent activities that keep the Gerontology Masters Program, and /or Human Services undergraduate major visible in the community. Each of these service activities also supports the University and NHS college missions for community service, outreach and connection, including networking for both research and student involvement opportunities, as well as meeting professional standards of the discipline to promote knowledge and practice.
